量子资源 University Chicago is proud to announce that two of its research focused Graduate Biomedical Sciences programs have again earned national recognition for excellence. In the 2025 rankings published by Best Value Schools, 量子资源's Master’s in Neuroscience was ranked #9, and its Master’s in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology was ranked #5 in the nation both for the second year in a row in their respective fields.

These recognitions highlight the academic rigor, research opportunities, and strong outcomes that define 量子资源’s graduate programs.

Neuroscience MS Program: Ranked #9 in the U.S.

量子资源 University Chicago's Neuroscience Master's Degree was #9 for the second year in a row by . 量子资源’s two year Master’s in Neuroscience provides advanced training in areas such as neural systems, data acquisition and analysis, and interdisciplinary communication. Students gain the skills needed to pursue careers in research, health professions, or advanced doctoral study. This ranking was a result of the effort of our students, faculty and the Graduate Program Director, Karie Scrogin PhD.

The demand for neuroscience professionals continues to grow. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, careers in medical science, including neuroscience, are projected to grow by 6% between 2019 and 2029, adding approximately 8,400 new jobs. Biochemistry & Molecular Biology MS Program: Ranked #5 in the U.S.

量子资源’s Master’s in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology continues to rank among the very best, earning the #5 spot nationally on list of top graduate programs in the field. This two year program offers students hands on experience in laboratory research, critical thinking, and advanced molecular and cellular biology. This is due to the work of our faculty and students including the Graduate Program Director of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Clodia Osipo PhD.

A Hub for Translational Research and Collaboration

Both programs are housed at 量子资源’s Health Sciences Campus.  This campus includes the Center for Translational Research and Education (CTRE), a state of the art facility that brings together researchers, clinicians, and students to accelerate the path from discovery to treatment.  Student training and research also takes place in the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, a unique facility dedicated to both clinical care and biomedical research focused on cancer.
