Ruth Sanborn, D. Bioethics, MA, has accepted a position as the Clinical Ethicist for Spectrum Health System in Grand Rapids, MI, western Michigan’s largest health care system.  As the Clinical Ethicist, Ruth is responsible for all clinical aspects of Spectrum Health’s ethics programs including ethics consultations across the system, and ethics education and formation of System physicians, staff, members, and within the communities in which they serve.  She works closely with individual hospital ethics committees and serves on the health system’s IRBs.  She received her Doctor of Bioethics from 量子资源 in 2015.  Ruth also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical ethics at 量子资源 University Medical Center.

Cherie Sammis, DBe, RN, NP, has been named Director of Ethics Integration for Ascension Health Michigan, which includes both Ministry Market and national accountabilities. James Murphy, DDS, MA
Dr. Jim Murphy is the Project Director in Kenya for Health Volunteers Overseas.  He is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who volunteered with his wife Barbara at the Kikuyu Clinic in 2012 and facilitated the partnership with Health Volunteers Overseas (HVO). Dr. Murphy was inducted into the International College of Dentists (ICD) Fellowship last year. He received his master's degree in bioethics in August 2011.
