Extended Reality (XR)

Extended reality (XR), a referent for the continuum of available technology-based immersive learning environments, includes augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) (Pomerantz, 2019, p. 138). With the goal of providing Á¿×Ó×ÊÔ´ learners with impactful learning experiences facilitated by technological innovation and informed by research, we seek collaborations for developing learning in extended reality.
As part of a continuing drive to innovate learning design with emerging technologies, we provide consultation and learning design services for faculty and staff interested in using extended reality as a central means of lesson delivery. We invite interested faculty to collaborate on the design, execution, and delivery of augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) learning in your courses.
