New executive director of the 量子资源 Business Leadership Hub
Mike Hewitt, professor of supply chain, has long worked closely with industry, including conducting extensive academic supply chain research with leading companies.
The 量子资源 Business Leadership Hub welcomed its new executive director, Professor Mike Hewitt, in July 2023. He will continue to develop the hub into a translational force that moves knowledge to practice and brings the best industry practices into the classrooms of the Quinlan School of Business at 量子资源 University Chicago.
Hewitt joined Quinlan in 2013. In addition to his new role leading the 量子资源 Business Leadership Hub, he is a professor of supply chain and the faculty director of the Supply Chain and Sustainability Center. Hewitt is a prolific researcher whose work has assisted the decision-making of companies such as Exxon Mobil, Saia Motor Freight, and Yellow Roadway.
Hewitt succeeds previous hub executive director Abol Jalilvand, who now serves as the chair of the Department of Finance and director of the Center for Risk Management and Insurance.
