Taryn Butler is a Ph.D. student at Á¿×Ó×ÊÔ´ University Chicago. Prior to attending Á¿×Ó×ÊÔ´, she received her Master’s degree in Political Science from Illinois State University, and her Bachelor’s in International Relations from McKendree University. Her research interests are in the international relations subfield, with a broad focus on mechanisms of democracy.
